WIP: Esjan

Esjan

Doesn’t really reveal much, eh? This is a heavy weight shawl for autumn, the lovely Esjan by Stephen West, that I cast on for a while back now. I’ll return to this one soon! I’ve had the yarn in my stash for ages, a really lovely wool/silk blend – it so cozy, you wouldn’t believe it! But, first I want to finish my TTL mystery shawl!

Hi, please help me with this. I’m knitting Esjan for the 4th time!!! I keep ripping it out as I always have an error at section 2 row 5. I’m suppose to end with k4 but I’m left with 5 stitches. I know row 4 is right because of the k1, p1, k1 on the 3yo. I’m so frustrated. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong!

Hi! I had no problem with it, so I don’t think there’s an error in the pattern. Are you working the 3 yarn overs from row 4 as (k1, p1) twice, and then k1 in the last? I’m afraid I can’t be of much more help. 😛
