About the pattern:
A new mystery knit? I like mysteries… must be a shawl, or socks, right? No? A cover-up? What type of garment is this, then? How is it worked?
Well, that’s a big part of the mystery, isn’t it? The cover-up is that special summer knit that is both a functional garment and a beautiful accessory. A loose-knit fabric makes it an ideal top to throw on over that gorgeous summer dress or fabulous tank top. Feeling a bit chilly, or just needing some extra flair in your outfit? Let’s cover-up!
“Levnadslust”, meaning “joy of living” in Swedish, is worked flat throughout and still manages to be completely seamless, making it suitable for both circulars and long straight needles. Using a longer circular will make it possible to try on the garment while knitting. The whole thing is worked up in garter stitch – not a single purl stitch in sight!
