The pattern was in September 2013 revised and updated to improve the fit of the armhole and sleeves, and a new size was added. To celebrate this, Fjäril Mini is now available in baby and child sizes.

Fjäril (Swedish for “Butterfly”) is a simple yet interesting design, worked top down in stockinette with lace panels in the shape of butterflies. This only calls for 1-2 skeins of fingering weight yarn – perhaps that lovely skein of sock yarn that you’ve been saving?
